WATERLOO

GENRE

Horror/Thriller

When four best friends on a cross-country road trip unknowingly stumble upon the aftermath of a grisly murder,

they are methodically hunted by the ruthless killer who cannot leave any witness behind.

ABOUT

The idea for "Waterloo" came about after taking a cross country road trip with my friends to move from New York to Los Angeles. After having stayed at more than a handful of motels in the middle of nowhere it was only a matter of time before I reimagined this two week trip as a horror film. I think all of us at some point checked into a hotel room in an unfamiliar place...stood there...and wondered if something terrible had happened there. Or maybe that's me being completely neurotic. Nonetheless, we never know what happens in these rooms before checking in and that notion leaves room for the imagination. The other very personal aspect to this film is the rare, unmatched friendship between these young adults. With that unfolding on screen, the stakes become much higher when the characters finally realize they're in mortal danger.
