BACKGROUND

We come to this place for magic...

My lifelong passion for film began at a young age, sparked by my first experience in a movie theater. Watching a T-Rex crush a Jeep Wrangler on the big screen left me spellbound and inspired to create my own films. Armed with nothing but my dad’s VHS camcorder that barely fit on my shoulder and the groundbreaking software Windows Movie Maker, I spent my childhood making backyard movies with friends and family, discovering my love for film editing and technique.

Weekly trips to Blockbuster on my bike, an endlessly growing DVD collection, and creating more and more lead me to attending New York’s School of Visual Arts. There, I honed my skills as an editor and director, and developed my own creative voice. During my thesis year, I successfully made my first feature film, "Behind Closed Doors".

After graduating, my heart was set on moving to Los Angeles. So, I gathered two of my best friends, crammed them into my tiny car against their will and Thelma and Louise’d ourselves across the country. Thankfully, no one perished.

Over the years, I gained editing experience in a wide range of projects, from social/digital and branded content to scripted and unscripted series, as well as independent narrative features and shorts. I collaborated with a team of editors and producers at AwesomenessTV and BratTV, delivering excellence and bringing each project's vision to life. My experience also involved collaborating with influencers and brands such as Xbox, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Extra Gum, Nickelodeon, and Starburst.

I believe my unique approach to filmmaking comes from my perspective as both an editor and director. It allows me to develop and execute projects with a sharp, creative eye and an efficient yet ambitious work ethic. I always seek to capture the magical escapism that film offers in all my work.

In my free time, I’ve written three feature-length spec scripts and enjoy conceptualizing new ideas…though I’d prefer doing it in a remote haunted log cabin. I love all genres so long as the story is intriguing but I lean towards thriller, horror, drama and suspense. As a child, I was forbidden to watch “The Exorcist”, but when it was rereleased I managed to sneak behind my parents’ backs to watch it and was regrettably shook to the core. I never looked back and became fascinated with dark, twisted and mysterious stories. But don’t worry, I still watched and adored films like “Up” and “Stepmom” and cried…I cried a lot.
